On before a capacity crowd at the Instituto Cervantes in midtown Manhattan, the most important awards celebrating achievements in Latino literature were presented to 190 deserving authors and publishers. ¡Mil gracias to all! Recognizing 15 Years of Literary Greatness Through the International Latino Book Awards Alicia and Annie Perez from California also comprised part of the volunteer team. Also thanks to Maria Rivas who could not join us due to illness. Our comadre volunteers included Julie Aponte, Nicole Beauchamp, Glorya Cabrera, Elizabeth Conde, Melissa Diaz, Marilyn Figueroa, Miriam Molina, Ximena Paredes, Raquel Penzo, Irene Perez, Yani Perez, Anna Vasquez Howard, and Christy Yanis.
